I am Mariano Sánchez and I started programming in the earliest years of my BSc in Aeronautical Engineering. Since then, I have focused my career on the Machine Learning field.
I am highly motivated and hard working person, with a solid experience in mathematics, statistics, Machine Learning techniques. I consider myself reliable, proactive and efficient, with the ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritize tasks.
I love building side projects on my free time and sharing my experience on Twitter and my code on GitHub. I am a passionate petrolhead, and so I try to drive whenever I can. Give me a curvy road, some music and you will see a happy face :)
As a senior data scientist specializing in ADAS features, I lead the design and implementation of advanced analytics-based quality tracking systems, ensuring scalability and cost-effectiveness through best DevOps practices. Apart from this, I'm in charge of reporting to internal stakeholders, enhance cross-team collaboration, and improve customer satisfaction.
Besides this, I have also worked with Data Engineering to streamline production processes and have contributed to machine learning projects related to NLP and traffic accident detection.
Among others, my main tasks were the development of ML algorithms, data preprocessing, UI/UX development, SQL database architecturing and cloud deployment, mainly on AWS and GCP. Besides this, I also worked on pre-sales and project organization in collaboration with project manager.
In the analyst position, my main task is to perform multiple data analysis and predictions on different production parameters (machine logs and business performance indicators) to make data-driven decisions.
To do so, I am in charge of the whole data pipeline preparation and analysis. From data pipeline creation and cleaning with PySpark, to web-dashboarding generation and data predictions implementing Deep Learning techniques with Python.
At this position, my task was basically to develop a Python-based dashboard (Flask) for real-time analysis of various internal company data packages, following Big Data and Machine Learning techniques such as NLP.

Multiple solutions have been purposed by lots of companies, but none of them has been able to give a realistic solution that complies with the strict aeronautical navigation laws in highly populated areas such as cities.
MAIVAULT was not only able to give a simple and reliable solution to this problem, but also to make it a highly profitable business.
